With its oil fields or operations spread out across Indonesia, PetroChina has multiple levels of records be generated and maintained as a result of multiple locations. The adoption of “Operating Cost Recovery” and “right to inspect and audit Contractor or oil and gas company’s books” stated in Production Sharing Contract forms the basis for PetroChina to organise its company resources in a professional and retrievable manner (auditable oriented company).
