New Exploration Licensing Policy - Fifth Round (NELP V)
The Government of India is going to announce Vth round of New Exploration Licensing Policy(NELP-V) in the last week of December,2004(around 23rd December, 2004). About 20 exploration blocks located in deep waters, shallow offshore and onland covering 12 sedimentary basins will be put on offer for international bidding. The bid closing date will be in May, 2005.
