Lundin Petroleum AB Spuds Second Exploration Well in The Munir Block, Onshore Iran
Lundin Petroleum AB (“Lundin Petroleum”) is pleased to announce that the exploration well Shakestan-1, in the Munir Block in Iran, has spudded. The Shakestan prospect is a large and well defined four way dip closure on trend with existing very large discoveries and within a proven petroleum system. Sixth Gas Liquefaction Train for Nigeria's Bonny Plant
Total announces that the shareholders in Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) have approved the construction of a sixth train at the Bonny Island gas liquefaction plant. Train 6, which will come on stream in late 2007, will have a capacity of 4.1 million metric tons a year of liquefied natural gas (LNG), raising NLNG's total production capacity to 22 million metric tons a year of LNG and 4.6 million metric tons a year of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and condensate. First Calgary Petroleums Ltd. commences drilling of third exploration well on Block 405b in Algeria
CALGARY, July 28, 2004 – First Calgary Petroleums Ltd. (FCP) today announces that drilling operations have commenced on the LES-1 exploration well on the Company’s Ledjmet Block 405b in Algeria. The LES-1 well is the third exploration well to be drilled by FCP on the Ledjmet Block. The well is located 10 km southwest of the recently cased LEC-1 exploration well drilled by FCP and 18km south-west of the MLE Field, which now has five cased gas and condensate wells. The LES-1 well has a projected total depth of 4500 metres and is expected to take 60 days to drill and log. More...
