Chevron Corporation and its partners have given the green light to construct the Platong Gas II natural gas project in the Gulf of Thailand. Total development cost of the field is approximately $3.1 billion with startup scheduled for first quarter 2011.  More... 		 

Punj Lloyd led Consortium awarded the largest pipeline project in Malaysia worth USD 500 million
A Consortium led by Punj Lloyd has been awarded the Sabah Sarawak Gas Pipeline Project by Petronas. The other Consortium partners are Dialog E & C and Petrosab Logistik from Malaysia. Total Farms into New Deep Offshore License in Nigeria
Total announced that it has signed an agreement with Nigeria’s Conoil Producing Limited to farm into the deep offshore OPL 257 license with a 40% interest. Conoil remains the operator with a 50% interest, and a local company holds the remaining 10%.  More... 		 

Devon Energy Agrees to Sell Assets in Cote d'Ivoire for $205 Million
Devon Energy announced that it has agreed to sell its oil and gas business in the African nation of Cote d'Ivoire to Afren for $205 million. The divestiture assets in Cote d'Ivoire include Devon's interests in offshore producing Block CI-11, offshore undeveloped Block CI-01 and the onshore Lion gas processing plant.  More...
