In-Situ Combustion Process To Enhance Oil Recovery In Balol And Santhal Fields In India
This session will showcase various aspects of the on going in-situ combustion process in the reservoir of Balol and Santhal fields which has been implemented by ONGC. It will uncover field practices followed for preparation of the wells for ignition and monitoring of the process with the help of quality and quantity of produced flue gases and fluids. The effects of the process on the well flow and liquid production will be also presented. He will further describe the different operational measures adopted to restore the thermal energy, maximize active wells, environmental protection and better process monitoring for reservoir management. Finally, he shall highlight in his presentation recent changes, developments and outcomes of this process.
