Eni started production at the South Pars gas field in Iran
Eni announces that production at the gas and condensate field of South Pars in the Islamic Republic of Iran, within phases 4 and 5 of the development project, has successfully started up. The South Pars field, located in the Iranian waters of the Persian Gulf, will initially produce 14 million cubic meters of gas per day and at full capacity will reach 58 million cubic meters of gas per day (20 billion cubic meters per year). MHI Receives Large LNG Tank Order from Qatar
Tokyo, October 26, 2004 - Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) has received an order from CMS&A - a joint venture of Chiyoda Corporation and Snamprogetti SpA, one of Italy's largest engineering firms - for a large LNG (liquefied natural gas) storage tank in Qatar.
